About Kimberly: It all started back with her childhood friend. One of their favorite pastimes was playing Kim’s Closet. Yep, that’s right - it is an actual game that she played as a little girl. They would conjure up places to go and then select the appropriate outfits for the occasion.
Since then Kimberly has stood in front of hundreds of closets, logged miles in stores, malls and boutiques styling women and men from all walks of life. She is inspired by individuality and is passionate about having clients embrace that One Size Does Not Fit All, i.e. just because everyone else is wearing it - doesn’t mean you should feel compelled to wear it. Kimberly wants clients to be comfortable in heir own skin; then get dressed. Kimberly truly loves the art of ‘getting people dressed’.
What fuels my passion: After styling a client their: renewed confidence & first glance in the mirror. Finally, a simple “thank you.”
The most fun I had in one day: Rolling Stones Concert. I stood on stage amongst the racks of guitars owned by the Rolling Stones as the opening band played. As I stood on stage during their set - I will never forget the energy in the arena of thousands of screaming fans. For one moment I was able to say - so this is what it feels like to be a Rock Star….. front row and dinner backstage topped off the entire evening.
Fun Fact: I was a huge tomboy as a kid and one year was a Dallas Cowboy football player for Halloween.
A Style Tip: As I have helped people over the years develop their style – I have come to recognize a pattern time and time again. No matter the label – no matter the amount of make-up, jewels or hairspray…unless you feel good – you actually are not going to look good. How do you go about feeling good? I have been in search of that formula for many years, but most recently have been reminded that I feel good if I am doing good. Do something nice randomly today….it will make you feel good and then my friend, you will look marvelous!
