What fuels my passion: Ageless Beauty. At every stage, whether a 14 year old who has acne, a 25 year old transitioning from college to a work environment, a new mom in her thirties or a woman in her 60's....each woman has a unique situation, skin type and challenges but the goal all the same. All women want to look beautiful, youthful and fresh.
Learning how to change makeup techniques while seeking products that work best for every woman, at any age, so I can help women feel that they are putting their best foot forward.
The most fun I had in one day: Working with Laura Mercier, the artist. I know it sounds corny since I am a makeup artist, but I have worked with celebrities before and never have I been as star struck as the day I got to meet her. She even critiqued my work, which she loved by the way. I was in awe. I have believed in her products and philosophy's of beauty for so long it was amazing to finally get to meet her.
Fun Fact: We all make mistakes and have bad habits. I used to wear brown eye liner as lip pencil....even now that I know better, I still pull it out occasionally. Don't tell anyone though! ;)
A Style Tip: You hear people say less is more....it really is! Looking beautiful everyday doesn't have to be a chore! Using simple products and using them correctly can be the difference between looking "pulled together" with you look and looking average. On a daily basis it takes me 6 min to do my makeup. Who doesn't have 6 min? Foundation primer, foundation, translucent setting powder, concealer, eye base, mascara, blush and lip-gloss....8 products and out the door. This is the bare minimum but for the clean simple look it is easy to do and makes a world of difference.
